Frequently asked questions
- Can parents see results before we are ready?
- No. Results are hidden from guardians and students until you publish them, and that gate is enforced by the system rather than left to process. It exists because a result that reaches a family early cannot be recalled.
- Can we use our own grading scheme?
- Yes. Grading schemes and their grade bands are configurable, so results are computed against the scheme you actually use rather than one hardcoded by us.
- How are re-exams handled?
- A re-exam is recorded as a distinct attempt rather than overwriting the original, and can be capped according to your rules. You keep a record of both what happened first and what happened after.
- Does it produce seat plans and invigilation duty?
- Yes. Seating arrangements and invigilation duty can be generated for an exam and printed, so they exist as documents rather than as a whiteboard someone photographed.
- Can we print report cards to hand out?
- Yes. Result documents can be generated for printing, built from the same marks and grading scheme used throughout, so the printed copy and the on-screen record cannot disagree.
- Is there AI involved in report comments?
- There is an optional AI feature that drafts report comments, and it is off unless you enable it. A drafted comment is never released on its own: the class teacher reviews and approves it first, because a comment about a child should have a teacher's name behind it.
